Mark Niemand has hosted “Mark in the Morning” since WZEZ signed on the air in 2001.
A VCU graduate, he has also sold frozen food, long-distance telephone service and been a Little League umpire — all perfect preparation for hosting a morning show. Proving he has too much time on his hands, in 2006 he createdwww.themesongchannel.com the first and only Internet format comprised entirely of television theme songs and commercials. Along with being a lover of books, Mark spends his spare time as a struggling author. He says his current manuscript, Rabbit Trap, should outsell his first three Great American novels by a wide margin — especially if it gets published.
